About the Role: As the Nurse Manager - Rehab Unit, you will lead and inspire a team dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for 13 weeks with the potential to transition into a permanent position with outstanding benefits.
You’ll work closely with a dynamic, multidisciplinary team including social work, therapy, and medical services, ensuring the highest standards of care are met. The role offers the chance to foster a collaborative, positive environment for both staff and residents, with the opportunity to grow professionally while making a lasting impact on patient outcomes.

Your Impact:
  • Lead and Inspire: You’ll manage a dedicated team of nursing professionals, guiding them to ensure excellent care and adherence to all regulatory standards.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Engage with interdisciplinary teams to promote evidence-based practices and create a therapeutic atmosphere.
  • Focus on Quality Care: Your leadership will be key in improving both resident outcomes and staff performance through ongoing training, development, and evaluation.
  • Promote a Positive Environment: Foster a supportive, resident-centered atmosphere that values quality of care, safety, and dignity for everyone.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead nursing, social work, recreation therapy, and medical teams to ensure the highest quality of resident care.
  • Supervise, evaluate, and support nursing staff, providing ongoing training and coaching.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans, admissions, and discharge processes.
  • Monitor and improve clinical and operational outcomes, ensuring adherence to all infection control and safety protocols.
  • Support a positive dining experience and attend to resident needs with compassion and professionalism.
What You Bring:
  • A Registered Nurse (RN) with an AAS Nursing degree (BSN preferred) and a valid New York State RN license.
  • 3-4 years of experience in Long-Term Care, with proficiency in MDS and PRI.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • BLS/CPR certification.
  • A passion for providing patient-centered care and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff.
