13-Week Travel Assignment | $1,125 per Week | Finger Lakes Region, NY
Position Type: Contract
Location: Finger Lakes Region, New York State
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Five 7.5-hour shifts)
Hourly Rate: $31 per hour
Weekly Gross Pay: $1,125 per week
Additional Compensation: Tax-free stipends available for those who qualify

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in the Finger Lakes region of New York. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to provide high-quality care in a long-term care setting while enjoying the beauty and adventure of upstate New York during the vibrant summer-to-fall season.
Position Overview
Under the supervision of licensed nursing personnel, the Certified Nursing Assistant provides direct and supportive care to adult and geriatric residents in a long-term care environment. This role requires a strong commitment to resident dignity, safety, and comfort, with a focus on individualized care and maintaining a respectful, compassionate atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including hygiene, grooming, dressing, toileting, and skin care
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment by responding promptly to call lights, preventing falls, and reporting equipment concerns
  • Support residents during mealtimes, including meal delivery, feeding assistance, and honoring food preferences
  • Promote residents’ mobility, comfort, and rehabilitation through ambulation, range of motion exercises, and proper positioning
  • Recognize and report changes in physical, emotional, or psychosocial status to the Charge Nurse promptly
  • Respect and advocate for residents’ rights and choices at all times
  • Complete documentation accurately and on schedule per facility protocols

Requirements
  • Valid New York State Nursing Assistant Certification
  • Minimum one year of long-term care experience
  • Certification must be held for at least one full year
  • BLS Certification required (must be from AHA or RQI)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to work a consistent five-day, 7.5-hour shift schedule
