Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Part Time Assignment
$984 per Week | 13-Week Contract | Finger Lakes Region, NY
Position Type: Contract – Part Time
Location: Finger Lakes Region, New York
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Part Time Evenings (2X8 1 week, 3x8 following week), EOW/Holiday required
Hourly Rate: $41 per hour
Weekly Gross Pay: $984 per week
Additional Compensation: Tax-free stipends available for qualifying travelers

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a 13-week part time assignment in the stunning Finger Lakes region of New York. This role offers a fulfilling way to provide compassionate care in a skilled nursing setting while spending your time off surrounded by lakes, waterfalls, hiking trails, and vibrant fall colors.
Position Overview
As an LPN on assignment, you will deliver direct and supportive nursing care to adult and geriatric residents in a long-term care environment. Working under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will assess patient conditions, support care planning, and promote resident well-being through safe, patient-centered care. This position requires a strong foundation in clinical skills, the ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes.
Your schedule will include a rotating shift pattern that may include days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Key Responsibilities
- Gather and communicate patient health data and behavioral observations to the RN and care team
- Contribute to individualized care plans that are age-appropriate and culturally informed
- Participate in resident assessments, care delivery, and evaluation of outcomes
- Identify the need for revisions to the plan of care and recommend changes as needed
- Support a safe, clean, and respectful environment that promotes healing and dignity
- Demonstrate continued learning and clinical skill through in-service and ongoing education
- Provide leadership and mentorship within your scope of practice and under RN guidance
Requirements
- Active LPN license in the State of New York
- Current BLS certification (AHA or RQI only)
- Minimum of one year experience as an LPN
- High level of comfort working with adult and geriatric populations
- Flexibility to rotate shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Local candidates may apply, but travel stipend eligibility is limited to non-local applicants
