About the Role:
We’re seeking a skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Unit RN to join our client in Andover, KS. In this role, you’ll provide high-level critical care nursing to patients in a fast-paced ICU environment, collaborating closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary team. Compensation & Differentials:
- Base Rate: $35–$38/hour (based on experience)
- Night Differential (7p–7a): +$4.00/hour
- Weekend Differential (Friday 11:00 PM – Sunday 11:30 PM): +$4.00/hour
- Holiday Pay: 50% additional of base rate
- All differentials stack
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required)
- RN License – State of Kansas (required)
- BLS Certification (required)
- ACLS (preferred upon hire, required within 6 months)
- ICU-Specific Certifications:
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (preferred upon hire, required within 6 months)
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (required within 6 months)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (required)
- BSN – preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and comprehensive ICU patient care
- Monitor patient status and respond to critical changes
- Educate and support patients and their families
- Collaborate with care teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document all care accurately and timely
- Participate in ongoing training and quality improvement initiatives
