What You'll Do:
- Prepare the operating room and sterile field for procedures
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during operations
- Pass instruments and supplies in a timely, efficient manner
- Maintain accurate counts of instruments and supplies
- Follow safety standards and sterilization protocols
- Collaborate with nurses and other staff to ensure optimal patient care
Surgical Specialties Include:
- Orthopedics and Total Joint Replacement
- General Surgery
- ENT
- Pain Management
- Plastics
- Podiatry
What We're Looking For:
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (required)
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year hospital OR experience (required)
- Minimum 1 year orthopedic surgical experience (required)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and detail-oriented in fast-paced environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 to 3 years of experience in a surgical tech role
- Exposure to a variety of outpatient surgical specialties
