Position: Cath Lab Tech

Position Overview
We are seeking a Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT), certified technicians who assist with invasive cardiac procedures. FT positions available, primarily days with late requirements and on call requirements, 10-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare the procedure room and sterile field for surgical procedures including the setup of sterile supplies, instruments, and equipment
- Anticipate equipment required during procedures
- Operate equipment and maintain sterile instruments
- Function in multiple roles of the procedure team including scrub, circulator, and documenter/monitor
- Experience in Right Heart and Left Heart Hemodynamics, Cardiac Interventions, CTO, PCI, Pericardiocentesis, Vascular Interventions, RotoPro, LVADs, AngioVac, FlowTriever
- Mechanical Circulatory Support Experience Required: ECMO, Impella, IABP, ProtekDuo
- Structural Heart experience with TAVR, MitraClip, Watchman, CardioMEMS, PFO, ASD, VSD, Valvuloplasty
- Critical care or Cardiac Experience Required
- 2 years of Cath Lab Tech experience
- Must be a Radiologic Technologist (RCIS) or meet the NYS requirements to be grandfathered into Public Health law 2824
- Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) through CCI or ARRT (prefers ARRT)
- COVID vaccine card showing fully completed COVID series
- BLS
- ACLS
- Good organizational skills are a must
